In de wijk Voorstad Centrum in Deventer ontstond zaterdagochtend vroeg een felle schuurbrand aan de Eendrachtstraat. Toen de brandweer arriveerde, sloegen de vlammen al hoog boven de schuur uit. Volgens een buurtbewoner zou de brand zijn ontstaan in een container naast de schuur. Vervolgens sloegen de vlammen over naar de naastgelegen schuren. De politie deed in de loop van de ochtend onderzoek naar de oorzaak van de brand en denkt dat er sprake is van brandstichting.
